The PHL2-R three watt rechargeable Spike features a retractable six pronged locking bezel designed for defense and combat applications. The Spike's ultra-bright CREE Q5 LED lamp generates a blinding 130 foot candles in high, or 28 fc in low brightness mode. A single T168-LIT rechargeable lithium ion battery (included) provides a run time of up to 2 hours in high and 22 hours in low brightness mode. The Spike can also be powered with two CR123A batteries. A 110v AC fast charger (included) will recharge a fully depleted battery in three hours. A recessed tactical button switch at the rear of the flashlight is used to select brightness level. The switch is progressive; first click is high, second is strobe, third is low mode. User can step through modes without turning light off by soft touching the switch. Spike will default to high mode after being turned off for about 10 seconds. Flashlight body is CNC machined aircraft grade aluminum with a hard anodized matte black finish. Weight, including the battery is 1 oz.
