The PTL-1R/SST MicroFire Explorer I tactical flashlight places the high brightness Luminus Phatlight SST-50 LED in a slim line body. The SST-50 produces 500 lumens of bright white light in full brightness mode or 100 lumens at low power. US made SST-50 LEDs efficiently harness light from a small, bright point source, producing a penetrating beam of white light with a bright, even field. A tactical button on/off switch mounted at the rear of the 1" diameter body is used to select full, low, or strobe modes of operation. The Explorer I is a rechargeable flashlight that uses the same T150-LIT Lithium-Ion batteries and charger as the Terminator I. Unlike the MicroFire HID Terminator series, the SST-50 LED comes instantly to full brightness with no warm up time. At full brightness, the Explorer I can be expected to have a run time of 1 hour, or 10 hours at low brightness (patrol) mode and 120 minutes in stobing mode. Intended for military or law enforcement applications, the slim line body is designed for use as an LED gun light. It can be mounted to a standard Picatinny rail using a 25mm gun mount. Options include the GF-MT mouse tail switch for finger tip control when gun mounted, and the D2-DC car charger. Batteries can be fully recharged in 2 1/2 hours. Includes two T150-LIT 3.7 volt rechargeable batteries, a 120-240v A2-AC/150 charger and belt mount tactical pouch.
